Pressing Process

Kempa is the first start of the process of extracting the oil from Palm fruit by pelumatan and compression. good and bad operation of the equipment affects the efficiency of extracting the oil. this process is consists of:

Digester

After separation of the fruit bunches of fruit, the fruit sent to the digester by way of the fruit into Threser Under Conveyor whose function is to bring fruit into the Fruit Elevator whose function is to lift the fruit to the top entrance to the distribution conveyor which then distribute the fruit into Digester. In the digester the fruit or berondolan that is fully rotated or stirred using a stirrer blade mounted on a shaft section II, while the knife or the bottom of the pitcher removing the fruit from the digester to a screw press.

Digester functions:
  • Squash pulp.
  • Separate the flesh of the fruit with seeds.
  • Preparing for Feeding Press.
  • Facilitate the process in the Press.
  • Raise the temperature.





Screw Press 


Function of the Screw Press is to have racking berondolan chopped, crushed from the digester to obtain crude oil. fruit which has been stirred gradually with the help of a knife thrower incorporated into the feed screw conveyor and pushed into pengempa engine (twin screw press). By the pressure screw retained by the cone, so that the mass is squeezed through a hole cage oil press are separated from the fibers and seeds.
